Reading book blog no.2: Space Stars and Slimy Aliens (Hong Minh)

A book from the award-winning series, Horrible Science, this book is packed with knowledge on the universe. The book is suitable for people who is interested to find out about the universe but doesn't want to read a book filled with scientific terms. This book has the science and the humour as they explore the solar system in a fictional way yet all the facts mention are true. This book even have some little-known facts like; your snot on a nuetron stars weighs ONE MILLION TONNES; the oxygen in your lungs and iron in your blood were all made by an exploding star billions of years ago; Each time phobos (one of Mars' moon) orbits Mars, it spirals lower (18cm every 100 Earth years) and is due to hit Mars in 40 million years...
Overall this is a great book for the people that wants to study our astronomy yet wanting to have a laugh.
