Evil Genius (Josh Reading Challenge) 542 pages

This book is about Cadel Piggot, a child genius and his adventures with Thaddeus Roth, his pshycologist who tells him that his real father is Phineas Darkkon, a evil genius in jail, and guides him towards evil and crime and sends him to a secret evil university, The Axis Institute (how do you not think the place is evil with a name like that!). Eventually, Cadel realises that Thaddeus is actually Prosper English, a henchman of Darkkon and is actually his father (even though in the later books Cadel finds out he isn't his father) and he escapes into police custody. I liked this book very much because its basis of a genius with a moral dillema who is thrust into a world of crime, deception and evil is very interesting. My least favourite part was when Cadel set up a phony dating service. It was really weird. Apart from that, this book is great.

Overall
+ Interesting Story
+ Great characters
+ Action is plentiful
- Some strange parts
8/10
