This book is about a girl (Devon) who lied to a friend called Lexi and through that she would never see her again since she went to her grandma’s house that summer. In the 3rd period in Math, Lexi stepped into the class, her life first to get complicated because all of the lied she told to Lexi:
She told Lexi she was popular in her school.(But she wasn’t)
She dated Jared.(But she did, he did not know she was in the school before Lexi came)
She starts to hangout with her new friend called Luke, Kim and Jared. Jared told Devon that he likes Lexi and Devon told him that he has to be mean to her to get her to like him. But actually it is because so Lexi will not find out the lies In a class Devon and Luke were put together for a project. While doing the project together Luke firsts to like Devon , but Devon was still hiding behind the lie that she told Lexi and Lexi told Kim. Also Kim knew that Devon was lying and threatens her to not date Luke.
At the end Luke and Devon went out and Jared and Lexi went out too.
I like this book because it kind of teaches you a lesson. And it keeps me interested.
